Portugal's award-winning Praia D'El Rey Golf & Beach Resort announces that construction on the Village Square started in May.

Destined to be the social and commercial hub of the resort, the Village Square is within 100 m of the beach, with breathtaking ocean views. Its indoor and outdoor summer bars, restaurants, shops and extensive public areas including a square, will draw visitors from all over the resort and surrounding area. Simultaneously with the development of the Village Square, Beltico Group will be developing the unique Beachfront site with 29 villas and townhouses all enjoying uninterrupted and panoramic ocean vistas.

Praia D'El Rey is confident that these new facilities will complement the resort's existing Marriott hotel and spa, golf course and tennis centre, offering added pleasure and entertainment for guests and property owners alike, as well as the local community.

The Beltico Group is also proud to announce it has obtained permission to install a new beach restaurant at Vila da Praia, near the Village Square, which will open in Summer 2011.
